ADHD and a gluten-free diet?
Welcome to help for adhd we provide a wide variety of information on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit disorder add
I am working with a naturopathic doctor on helping with ADHD. I haven’t responded whatsoever to any regular medication so I’m somewhat desperate to find something that will help. One of his big things is a gluten free diet. I really want this to help me but I’m very skeptical of the science behind it. My father tried the diet and a severe back problem has been greatly reduced. At this point he can really tell when he has had much wheat because the back pain gets worse for a day or two. It can have absolutely amazing results. I said on a recent post, Its almost like his brain is a lock and medicine is the key. Unfortunately, however, medication is not effective for everyone. Some experts say that medication is not effective for some 20-30% of the ADHD population.Related BlogsMy best friend, my best ADHD plan | ADHD from A to ZoëAcne Medication And TreatmentPopulation… Read more about ADHD and Medication Side Effects →

Welcome to help for adhd we provide a wide variety of information on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit disorder add
My six year old daughter has ADHD. I thought of eliminating milk, wheat, preservatives/additives, dyes, sugars, and caffeine from her diet to see if the symptoms go away. But I am not sure what to feed her except fruits and vegetables which I know she won’t eat. She is on medication but it is having side effects and I am not sure to continue the medication but that is up to the doctor. Any suggestions?
